1. Bookings & Payment
· A £25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
· Bookings are confirmed once the deposit has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.
· Full payment is due 14 days prior to the event.
· Bookings made within 14 days of the event must be paid in full at the time of booking.
· Payment must be made by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Cancellations & Changes
· Cancellations or reschedule requests must be made by the named Hirer via email.
· Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will receive a refund of any monies paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
· Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.
· Reschedule requests within 14 days of the event will be treated as a cancellation.
· Bookings are only considered cancelled, amended or rescheduled once confirmed by Vik and Roo Party Hire in writing.
· If Vik and Roo Party Hire cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all monies paid, including the deposit, will be provided.
3. Outdoor Hire (May–August Only)
· Outdoor hire is available between 31st May and 31st August, subject to weather conditions, ground suitability and operational availability.
· The Hirer must provide a suitable, level, clean and safe area for setup.
· We reserve the right to refuse setup on unsuitable surfaces or in unsuitable locations.
· The setup area must be clear of hazards, debris, sharp objects, animal waste and any other conditions that may affect the safe use of the equipment.
· Failure to provide a suitable setup area may result in the booking being unable to proceed and the booking being treated in accordance with our cancellation policy.
4. Weather & Outdoor Hire Policy
· All outdoor hires are weather dependent.
· Equipment must not be used in rain, strong winds or any conditions that may make its use unsafe.
· The Hirer is responsible for providing a suitable indoor backup space where appropriate.
· Where a suitable indoor alternative is available, we may move the setup indoors if outdoor conditions are considered unsafe.
· If no suitable indoor space is available and outdoor conditions are deemed unsafe, the booking may be cancelled and no refund will be due.
· We reserve the right to refuse, delay or cancel setup where weather conditions are considered unsafe.
· Once equipment has been delivered and set up, the Hirer is responsible for monitoring weather conditions and ensuring equipment use ceases immediately if conditions become unsafe.
· No refunds or credits will be provided for non-use due to weather once setup has been completed.
5. Delivery, Setup & Collection
· Equipment will be delivered, set up and collected at agreed times.
· Suitable access must be provided for delivery and collection.
· The Hirer must ensure all hired items remain accessible for collection.
· Equipment must not be removed from the agreed hire location without prior written consent.
· Equipment must not be dismantled, relocated or altered by the Hirer.
· Equipment must not be used after the agreed collection time.
6. Use & Safety
· All children using the equipment must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.
· The Hirer accepts full responsibility for the supervision and safe use of the equipment throughout the hire period.
· Equipment must only be used for its intended purpose.
· Soft play equipment is intended for use by young children only. The Hirer must ensure that users are of a suitable age and size for the equipment hired.
· Hobby horses, jumps and associated equipment must be used sensibly and safely. Jumps must not be modified, climbed on or used in a manner for which they were not designed.
· No food, drink, chewing gum, shoes, face paint, glitter, slime, paint or other messy materials are permitted on or near the equipment.
· Equipment must be kept clean, dry and protected from damage throughout the hire period.
· Any safety instructions provided by Vik and Roo Party Hire must be followed at all times.
7. Liability & Responsibility
· All persons using the equipment do so at their own risk, subject to our statutory obligations.
· Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited.
· We maintain public liability insurance.
· The Hirer is responsible for ensuring adequate adult supervision, safe use of the equipment, a suitable environment for setup and use, and compliance with any safety instructions provided.
· Vik and Roo Party Hire shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from misuse of the equipment, inadequate supervision, or failure to follow provided instructions.
· The Hirer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Victoria Blowers trading as Vik and Roo Party Hire against claims, losses, damages and expenses arising from the Hirer's breach of these Terms and Conditions or negligent supervision of equipment users.
· We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings during the hire period.
8. Damage, Loss & Cleaning
· The Hirer is responsible for all equipment from the time of delivery until collection.
· Any missing, stolen, broken or damaged items will be charged at the full replacement or repair cost.
· Equipment must be returned in the same condition in which it was supplied, allowing for reasonable wear and tear.
· Excessive cleaning resulting from food, drink, mud, animal waste, prohibited materials or misuse may incur an additional cleaning charge.
9. Agreement
· By submitting a booking, making payment, or completing our booking acceptance process, the Hirer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
